Ordering

Whilst all efforts are made to ensure accuracy of description, specifications and pricing there may be occasions where errors arise. Should such a situation occur Glenndarcy Dog Products cannot accept your order. In the event of a mistake you will be contacted with a full explanation and a corrected offer. The information displayed is considered as an invitation to treat not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon supply of goods.

Delivery and Returns

You will find details and the return address on the leaflet that was provided with your product. If you ordered a pair of Smarty pants, please contact us and we will advise you of our return address and details.

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags. Please remove any dog hair from the unused products when the product was tried on before returning. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If there is dog hair on the returned product/s, we will take a photograph and deduct a £5.00 cleaning fee from your refund.  To help you avoid this cleaning fee, please use a lint roller on the product before returning.

Any returns we receive outside the 30 days will not be refunded - the products will be passed onto one of our dog charities.

We strongly recommend that you fully insure your return package if returning with several products. We suggest the use of a carrier that can provide you with a proof of delivery for any return.

Glenndarcy will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. 

All shipping back to Glenndarcy is paid for by the customer. Please ensure you pay the correct postage - we will not go to the local Royal Mail depot to pick up a package and pay the additional postage charge.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

For reasons of hygiene and health, refunds are not available for used dog clothing products (products are to be free of dog hair, urine, faeces, unwashed and un-perfumed - the product will be checked with a black light). 

We will also not refund for products that are damaged by dogs - eg bite marks/holes and tears.

Reusable pads - these have a label on the plastic outer saying if opened they are not refundable for hygiene reasons.  Any reusable pads received back where the plastic outer has been opened, will not be refunded.

Exchanges

We do not accept exchanges - mainly due to our products being priced according to their size and the amount of fabric used. 

The fastest way to attain a different product/size is to return the product that doesn't fit and order again.

Refunds

Returns will take approximately 2-4 working days to process once the goods have arrived. 

Returned products that are not in a resalable condition will be donated to our local dog rescue charities (we will not contact customers to advise their return is not in a refundable condition).

If your return is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Postage & Packaging costs and charges paid during the original purchase are non-refundable.

Product Use

Our dog pants and belly bands, along with a disposable or reusable pad, are designed to help contain season mess and urine.  The disposable or reusable towel/pad should be regularly checked and changed.

Our female dog pants and male dog belly bands are not designed to prevent matings.  Glenndarcy Ltd take no responsibility for dogs successfully mating when our products are used in this manner.

Reusable washable pads

If you buy the incorrect washable pads for the purchased product (eg dog pants / belly band) we will:
1) check your order history
2) if you haven't ordered before, we will

a) change the washable pads to the correct washable pads for the product/s you have purchased to a similar value (eg 4 D pads to 5 B pads).  This saves you time and money.
b) if you purchased washable pads for smaller products, we will send you an update order with the correct washable pads which will include an invoice for the difference.

The product is sent out with a disposable pad for trying the product on to see if it fits your dog. 


Incorrect/Damaged Goods

We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive your products ordered please contact us. In the unlikely event that the product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Glenndarcy Dog Products immediately.

When will my Order be Sent?

UK orders are sent out the next working day (eg, order on a Thursday, the order will be sent on the Friday). We also endeavour to send orders made before 10.30am on the same working day.

Most orders less than £16.99 (if they are Large Letter size) are usually sent Royal Mail 24 so if you need a product quick, please purchase one product. (Our size Large to XXXL pants and 2 washable pads are parcel size).
Shipping timing guidelines for Royal Mail 24 are 1 to 3 working days- if Royal Mail make their delivery timescales - it's the next working day.

Orders £16.99 to approximately £50 are usually sent Evri.
Shipping timing guidelines for Evri are 2 to 4 days- although typically it's the second day (please ignore the 2 week time guideline the Evri tracking may provide). Orders to Northern Ireland will be sent Royal Mail Tracked 48. If you wish to be sent Royal Mail Tracked 48 please advise at time of purchase. 

Orders approximately £50 and over are usually sent Royal Mail 48 Tracked Parcel

Orders £60 and over - FREE Delivery - sent Royal Mail 48 Tracked Parcel.

EU orders are sent Royal Mail International or Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed (or Signed or Tracked depending on the country).

Europe recommended delivery times - 3 to 5 working days (from experience, Italy and Spain may take 7 - 10 working days).

EU - NO Custom Charges

We have EU IOSS VAT Registration Number IM2500025161.  This number is provided electronically to your country's custom authorities which means no parcel custom administration fee, import duty or VAT is required.  The IOSS badge is also printed out on the postage label for your package. 

Please note you can only order up to £115 per order (plus £8.99 postage) as the new EU rules only allow up to 150 Euros.  If you wish to purchase more than £115 of our products, please purchase in separate orders.

Overseas orders are sent Royal Mail International or Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed (or Signed or Tracked depending on the country).

Rest of the World recommended delivery times - 5 to 7 working days (from experience 7 to 21 working days).

Please note - different countries have different speeds depending on the national postal service. Remember, goods can get caught up in customs prolonging the delivery time. We are not responsible for customs fees.

Custom Charges

All International orders that are not within the EU may have customs charges applied.  You will not be charged 20% VAT on your order.  Depending on the country they may charge an administration fee, import duty and appropriate taxes. We are not responsible for these charges. 

Privacy Notice

This policy covers all users who register to use the website. It is not necessary to purchase anything in order to gain access to the searching facilities of the site.

Security

We have taken the appropriate measures to ensure that your personal information is not unlawfully processed. Glenndarcy Dog Products uses industry standard practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal identifiable information, including ‘firewalls’ and secure socket layers.

During the payment process, we ask for personal information that both identifies you and enables us to communicate with you.

We will use the information you provide only for the following purposes - to send your order to you via Royal Mail.

We do not deal directly with Credit Card numbers - they are dealt with via 3rd party payment gateway - Sagepay, Paypal or Amazon Payments.

Please read them carefully, Glenndarcy Dog Products controls and operates this site from its offices within the UK via Shopify. The laws of England and Wales and Scotland govern claims relating to including the use of, this site and materials contained.

If you choose to access from another country you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local lands.

All content on the site such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips and software are all owned by Glenndarcy Dog Products and are protected by international copyright laws.  All our products have Registered Design Rights with the Intellectual Property Office (IPO).

License and Site Access

Glenndarcy Dog Products grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site. This license doses not include any resale’s of commercial use of this site or its contents any collection and use of any products any collection and use of any product listings descriptions or prices any derivative use of this site or its contents, any downloading or copying of account information. For the benefit of another merchant or any use of data mining, robots or similar data gathering and extraction tools.

This site may not be reproduced duplicated copied sold – resold or otherwise exploited for any commercial exploited without written consent of Glenndarcy Dog Products.
